About 20 thousand passengers departed from the Nizhny Novgorod Strigino airport to the south of Russia in two summer months, the press service of the air harbor reports.

In the summer schedule of Strigino airport, five airlines operate flights to Simferopol: Russia, Red Wings, Nordwind, Ural Airlines and Smartavia.

Three airlines have planned direct regular flights to Sochi from Nizhny Novgorod: Rossiya, Red Wings, and Ural Airlines.

Direct regular flights to Russian resorts were introduced in early June. In July, new carriers appeared on popular routes and the frequency of flights increased. Currently, seven airlines operate flights from Nizhny Novgorod airport to Russian resorts, and the frequency of flights reaches six per day.
