Now the sale of the goods has been stopped. A representative of Orelrospechat claims that the sale of stamps with a portrait of the Fuhrer was legal, "absolutely nothing was violated."
“This topic has already gotten, so to speak. I don’t want to tell you anything about it. Absolutely nothing has been violated, everything is within the law … It's just buying and selling ", - the representative of "Orelrospechat" told the Daily Storm and refused to continue the conversation.
A number of local residents were outraged by the sale of stamps with the Fuhrer. The Oryol branch of Rospechat previously reported to the Oryol State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company that they had warned customers that the product depicted a war criminal. “What are the questions for us? Everything is according to the law. And there are inscriptions about the prohibition of Nazi propaganda, and that Hitler is a war criminal - too , - said the sellers.
“Why shouldn't we show our people today that there was such an international war criminal who started the Great Patriotic War, where we suffered enormous sacrifices?” - General Director of "Orelrospechat" Armenak Baboyan was indignant.
The stamps were supplied by the public-patriotic organization "For the Motherland" from Karelia. They were sold at 290 rubles apiece. The organization clarified that the stamps with Hitler are genuine. "His portrait can cause a negative reaction among citizens, but in this case, this is a genuine portrait of that era (not re-printed for propaganda) and presented in the correct patriotic vein, is, on the contrary, a consolidation of the heroic context of the Great Victory over the criminal Nazi Germany.", - explained representatives of "For the Motherland".
The ICR promised to make a procedural decision based on the results of a pre-investigation check due to the sale of stamps with Hitler.

On September 18, the Ulyanovsk Regional Court fined a local resident 120 thousand rubles for trying to upload a photo of Adolf Hitler on the Immortal Regiment Online website in early 2020. The man, whose name is Vyacheslav Kruglov, was found guilty of the rehabilitation of Nazism. He was allowed to pay the fine in installments. At the trial, Kruglov spoke positively about Hitler, who, in his opinion, defended animal rights.
