22-year-old Brazilian Valentina Sampaio said that already at the age of eight, a psychologist identified her as a transgender.
At the age of 12, Valentina officially declared her gender and began to call herself a girl. Relatives and friends supported this decision: "Even then we saw in her more feminine than masculine."
