Two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko posted on his instagram a video of the training of his son Alexander, better known as the Gnome Gnomych.
In the video, an 8-year-old child performed a long spin with a top, turning around its axis 44 times.
“Try it, repeat it,” Yevgeny Plushenko signed the publication.
In the comments, Yana Rudkovskaya wrote: “Cool, he had a record of 46! We must interrupt!"
In early February, Alexander won the February Patterns tournament in the first youth category, with the figure skater being the youngest of the participants.

In January 2020, Yana Rudkovskaya, the wife of Yevgeny Plushenko and the mother of Alexander, achieved the initiation of a criminal libel case. In May, StarHit published information that the Gnome Gnome had Asperger's Syndrome. After these publications, the child allegedly received a trauma, closed in on himself, refused to eat and even train on the ice.
On January 28, a forensic medical examination took place within the framework of the criminal case.
Evgeni Plushenko and Yana Rudkovskaya have been married since 2009. In 2013, the couple had a son, Alexander, and in October 2020, another child, Arseny.
