A dermatovenerologist warned Russians about the dangers of face massage. He told about this on the air of Sputnik radio.

According to Aleksey Edemsky, in some cases the procedure effectively prevents the signs of aging, but sometimes it can also cause negative consequences. The specialist notes that before carrying out it, it is important to determine what type of aging process is.

So, for example, for people with a static type, in which soft tissues sag, massage is useful in that it removes excess fluid from the face. At the same time, for patients with a deformation type, the procedure helps to tone the muscle, which is able to support the tissues descending downward.

The interlocutor of the publication also stressed that massage is not an effective way to smooth out wrinkles and creases, since it has a temporary effect. Edemsky believes that the main means in the fight against such defects are "injection or hardware cosmetology."

In addition, the dermatovenerologist explained that if a person has a thin face, he should turn to point massage techniques or face-building (gymnastics for the face - approx. "Lenta ru"). “It is better not to carry out active massage movements on the face,” Edemsky said on the air.

It is noted that in the presence of inflammation or allergic diseases on the face, it is not recommended to attend these procedures, since the wrong massage technique can stretch the skin. In addition, if you do face building incorrectly, your skin may worsen.

In June, cosmetologists revealed the secrets of the youth of stars who do not use Botox injections. It turned out that designer Victoria Beckham uses two products of her own brand every day for £ 300 (26 thousand rubles), and TV presenter Trinny Woodall prefers expensive cosmetic gadgets. Rochelle Humes, in turn, pays special attention to moisturizing the skin.
