It is important for Russia that Kyrgyzstan remains an independent and strong state, said Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the CSTO Vyacheslav Volodin in a conversation with Acting President of Kyrgyzstan Talant Mamytov. He said that relations between the countries should be developed at the level of specialized committees of parliaments.

“You must do everything to protect your citizens and the country. It is important for Russia that Kyrgyzstan is a strong and sovereign state, a partner - said Volodin.

He told Mamytov about the Russian experience in amending the Constitution. According to him, the changes were aimed at preserving the sovereignty and increasing the well-being of Russians.

“Time passes, the situation is changing, the Constitution is a living organism. But through these changes, we must do everything to ensure that the rights of citizens are guaranteed, that living standards are only raised, so that sovereignty is protected”- added the speaker of the State Duma.

Mamytov, in turn, assured that Kyrgyzstan "has always been and remains a reliable partner" of Russia.

“The Kyrgyz Republic has always been and remains a reliable partner of the Russian Federation on the basis of many years of ties of friendship and mutual understanding. I would like to inform you of a firm and principled position that the Kyrgyz Republic remains fully committed to all its international obligations and strict implementation of all previously signed bilateral and multilateral treaties and agreements. , - said Mamytov.

Volodin also proposed to discuss in the relevant committees the resumption of regular flights between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, cooperation between the border services of both countries and the regulation of labor migration.

“Our countries are strategic partners, Kyrgyzstan is a member of the CSTO - this is the highest level of cooperation, so it is important for us to lend you a shoulder in resolving the issues that you designate, and to do everything to make those who come feel comfortable here”, - emphasized the speaker of the State Duma. He added that "it is easier for citizens of Kyrgyzstan to get a job in the Russian Federation due to the fact that the official status of the Russian language is fixed in the republic," the press service of the lower house of parliament reports.

"The strong point of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan is that they are distinguished by the best knowledge of the Russian language.", - said Volodin.

The Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, recalling that the republic is interested in improving bilateral cooperation, noted: "We highly appreciate all your efforts to develop cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, especially in the qualitative improvement of the inter-parliamentary dialogue".

At the end of November, the chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly (PA), Vyacheslav Volodin, at a PA meeting called for accelerating the creation of a single list of terrorist organizations for the participating countries. This will increase the capabilities of states in the fight against international formations of militants, Volodin explained. The CSTO includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
