British journalists have uncovered changes in women's breast fashion over the course of a century, reports The Sun.
Experts recalled that in the 1940s, women abandoned corsets in favor of a bra. In those years, postcards with images of girls in lingerie became popular. According to most people, these models had the perfect bust: large enough and pointed. The trend continued into the 1950s. Then the fair sex began to sew special linings into the linen.

Fashion for figures with small breasts is associated with the singer Twiggy, who became popular in the 60s. Then the public fell in love with her boyish figure with a small bust. This fashion continued into the next decade.
In the 1980s, men's attention shifted to a large bust. Women began to undergo plastic breast augmentation surgeries. In the early 90s, part of society admired small breasts like supermodel Kate Moss, others preferred huge breasts, which the actresses often emphasized with a deep cleavage. At the same time, the demand for round implants increased, with the help of which the effect of an elastic bust was achieved.
At the beginning of the millennium, breast reshaping surgeries were gaining in popularity. This led to the fact that women began to get carried away with oversized breasts. In the next decade, they massively began to reduce their breasts in a quest for naturalness. At the moment, most women want to have breasts in proportion to other body parameters.
