We decided to trace how the standards of beauty have changed over the past 100 years.
1910: Lillian Gish and Mary Pickford
At the beginning of the twentieth century, tall girls with large breasts and a wasp waist were considered the ideal of female beauty. The main attribute of the beauties of these years is a rigid corset, with the help of which an "hourglass" was obtained from almost any figure. No makeup, but the hair had to be lush. In 2009, the title of the most beautiful woman in the world passed from supermodel Gisele Bundchen to Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. The main fetishes of the new decade are olive skin, full lips, high cheekbones and fluffy eyelashes. To achieve what they want, girls are ready for anything: lips "like Angie" are one of the most popular requests among cosmetologists. But the closer we get to 2020, the worse our prospects are. Or is everything new - is it a well-forgotten old?
Remember, at the beginning of the century, girls wore tight corsets to make the figure resemble an hourglass?
