In Thailand, a girl dyed her dog's ears pink with hair dye intended for humans. According to the Coconuts news portal, one ear fell off after that.

The incident took place in Bangkok. The owner of a Pomeranian named Diffy took him to a dog salon, where his ears were dyed bright pink. Immediately after that, the ears of the dog, which had been standing before, buckled. The hairdresser assured the girl that in two or three days everything would return to normal.

On February 6, the hostess went to the veterinary clinic. She complained to the doctors that the dog's ear had fallen off. “It all started with a common allergic reaction: itching, burns, peeling. But when the crust came off, the ear fell off with it,”the girl described what had happened.

Veterinarians, in communication with reporters, confirmed the visit of the girl and commented on the incident. “The chemical could burn the thin skin of the ear, there could be too much paint, and the dog could have a severe allergic reaction. Anything could have been the reason,”said the interlocutor of the publication.

Representatives of the animal protection organization PETA have repeatedly stated about the dangers of painting dogs and other animals. Among the possible consequences, they named allergies, burns, blindness, deafness and death of the animal.
