Therefore, the application on the public procurement website for monitoring the media and social networks in search of information about the work of the ICR, the head of the committee, Aleksandra Bastrykina, and the official representative, Svetlana Petrenko, has been canceled. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee.

«In order to optimize and reduce budget expenditures, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation refuses to purchase services for monitoring the media, the Internet and social networks, in connection with which the corresponding application on the website zakupki.gov.ru has been canceled», - the message says.

It is noted that "the work of the Department of Interaction with the Mass Media of the Investigative Committee of Russia to identify in the information space messages about impending or committed crimes, violations of citizens' rights will continue."

Earlier, on November 17, the ICR posted an application on the public procurement website for organizing monitoring of media and social networks to search for news about the work of the department, its head Alexandra Bastrykina and official representative Svetlana Petrenko. As Znak reported, the TFR planned to spend 3.6 million rubles on this.

The performer was supposed to monitor 41 thousand publications and 800 million accounts on social networks. The target was news about the Investigative Committee and its leadership. It was also planned to check sites with petitions, appeals to the TFR, articles criticizing the department and authorities.
