The wife of rapper Dzhigan, Oksana Samoilova, announced her intention to sue bloggers who cursed the products of her cosmetic brand Sammy Beauty. The information appeared on the YouTube channel of the user Katya Konasova.
Konasova said that she was among the bloggers who received claims from representatives of the brand. According to the letter, on her channel, the girl presented false information about the documentation, production and products of Sammy Beauty. As a result, brand employees demanded that she remove the revealing videos and publish a rebuttal, and threatened that otherwise she would face legal proceedings.
It is noted that, in addition to Katya Konasova, lawyers also sent claims to other popular beauty bloggers, for example, Natalina Mua and Mark Kaufman.
In September 2020, Oksana Samoilova was scolded for the similarity of the Sammy Beauty packaging design with the branded containers of the Kylie Skin company. Fans of the businesswoman scoffed at Samoilova in the comments.
Despite criticism from buyers, the founder of the brand said in a story on her Instagram page that she did not care about the similarity of the design of Sammy Beauty cosmetics with the packaging of other brands, including Kylie Cosmetics and Agent Provocateur. “I don't care what he looks like,” she concluded in the posts that have now been removed from her account.
Later, in October 2020, Samoilova was also accused of lying to clients. It turned out that Sammy Beauty products have a similar composition to the cosmetics of the Russian company Mixit. At the same time, the means of production of the Samoilova brand are twice as expensive as those of Mixit. In addition, it turned out that Sammy Beauty cosmetics are manufactured in the same place as Mixit products, namely in Aprelevka near Moscow.
