The journalist of the Jalopnik edition from the United States appreciated the extraordinary approach of AVTOVAZ to the design of the head optics of the domestic SUV. He even set the Niva as an example for the creators of the electric Hummer EV, writing that they could learn a thing or two from their colleagues in Russia.
The journalist believes that the charm of the future Lada Niva will be emphasized by the original design of the front led optics: daytime running lights in the shape of the letter L are naturally combined with the letter D, in the form of which the inside of the headlight is framed. With such a light pattern of the front optics, auto designers “encrypted” the name of the LADA brand in the headlights, although, perhaps, there was no special idea, but it turned out unusual.
In addition, the reviewer praised the classic Niva, calling it "the greatest Soviet car of all time." When the debut of the new Niva, built on the CMF-B-LS architecture, will take place is not yet clear. It is assumed that this will be 2024. Then the third generation of "Niva" is planned to be introduced to European car markets.
