Photo spies managed to capture a prototype of the Porsche Taycan Cross Tourismo station wagon, which is now at the stage of final tests. The model in the pictures is shown without camouflage, so it can be appreciated from all sides.
Looking at the photo, you can understand that the changes affected only the rear of the car and the roof line - it became longer. The ground clearance has also increased. The profile of the electric model is reminiscent of the Turismo show car, shown 2 years ago.
The Taikans will have a single platform - PPE. Most likely, the technical characteristics of the station wagon will be the same as that of the regular version. If so, the electric propulsion system will produce 530 "horses" in total cost. The battery capacity will be 79 kWh. Later, more powerful variations of 680 and 761 horsepower will appear on sale.
Manufacturers have been working on the novelty for several years already. Recall that at first they wanted to present the station wagon this year, but due to the pandemic, the plans had to be postponed - the premiere will take place next year. The exact dates are not yet known.
