Apparently, today men do not have such a unanimous opinion about a woman with a haircut. So, the magazine "Cosmopolitan" on this occasion conducted a survey of men. Half of the respondents answered that a haircut is quite acceptable for itself, as long as it goes with their beloved. About a quarter of the respondents would at first try to persuade the long-haired beauty from going to the hairdresser, but if it turned out to be useless, they would not see anything wrong with it. 11 percent of respondents generally said that they are ready to love their lady in any way. And only 12 percent said a short-haired woman would never be their sweetheart. Moreover, if their long-haired lady cuts her hair, it will mean the end of the relationship.
But American scientists made a conclusion that more confirms the theory of Freud. They conducted an experiment in which two thousand men were shown two photographs of the same woman, but with different lengths of hair. Almost 80 percent found a long-haired lady more attractive, the rest said they had nothing against a short haircut, but, in their opinion, it makes a woman uninterested in sex. This is allegedly confirmed by the fact that with age, women cut their hair more often than young women.
The same group of psychologists revealed a pattern: the more difficult the period in a woman's life, the shorter she cuts. For example, many do this after childbirth, when there is not much time for themselves or for beauty.
Cosmopolitan experts cite the example of Audrey Hepburn and Demi Moore, who with their short haircuts have become a symbol of femininity, sophistication and attractiveness. However, psychologists immediately make a reservation that we are talking about celebrities with chiseled figures who know how to take care of themselves. It is unlikely, in their opinion, that a haircut will beautify a woman of years with a blurry figure and a double chin.
Especially for FashionTime, the host of the "Embassy of Beauty" project, Vladimir Makarov, spoke about how men perceive women's appearance. In his opinion, concrete samples are good, but they are not good. However, there are nuances that most men will agree with. For example, which woman is more attractive - with short or long hair, it is a matter of taste. But men prefer the color closer to natural. According to Vladimir Makarov, the colors "eggplant" or "ripe cherry" will not soon find their fans.
And also men "melt" from the natural look of hair. They see themselves launching a hand at them. A varnished hairstyle, or a very complex one, twisted from long hair, does not excite such a desire.
A group of Russian psychologists, commissioned by one of the glamorous magazines, interviewed men who prefer women with short hair. Psychologists were interested in why these women? It turned out that a lady with a short haircut is associated among men with business acumen, a strong character, an entrepreneurial streak, and outstanding mental abilities.
