A paralyzed girl was denied a beauty salon in Michigan. One of the masters told the heroine of the story, Angela Peters, that there was no point in spending her working time on her, because the woman's hands were shaking so badly that it would be a big problem to get a manicure done carefully.
Ebony Harris, the cashier of the Walmart supermarket, witnessed the unpleasant incident. She bought the girl nail polish and gave her a manicure herself during her lunch break at work. Ebony said that she felt ashamed of the behavior of the salon employees and wanted to cheer up Angela.

The situation was made public after a post by Walmart visitor Taisia Smith. The woman published a post on Facebook, in which she told her subscribers about what was happening. The story was quickly picked up by local TV channels.
Angela herself says that she does not hold any grudge against anyone and does not call for a boycott of their salon:
"I just hope that after this situation, the employees of this salon will behave a little smarter."
