Brazilian rapper Fernanda Rodrigues, better known as Mc Atrevida, has died after a failed buttock augmentation procedure. Reported by the Daily Mail.
The 43-year-old singer underwent lipolifting at an aesthetic medicine clinic in Rio de Janeiro, during which doctors pumped excess fat from her back into her buttocks. Two days after the operation, which cost about $ 580 (41 thousand rubles), Rodriguez felt unbearable pain in her back, and inflammation began in her body.
The woman was sent to the intensive care unit. One day later, the patient developed renal failure and died. According to doctors, the cause of the death was sepsis: before the fat pumped out of the back was injected into the buttocks, an unskilled plastic surgeon mixed it with a "foreign substance."
A police check revealed that the Queen of Plastics clinic, where the procedure was performed, was revoked from its medical license several months ago, but it continued to operate despite the ban. The case is currently under investigation, and the owner of the establishment, Wania Tavares, has denied the guilt of her employees.
In May, it was reported about the Indian model Shilpe Sethi, who also underwent plastic surgery to increase the buttocks and lost the opportunity to sit for six months. The girl believes that she has become a victim of the clinic's deception. She found that management asked former patients to write positive reviews of procedures for gifts.
