A 16-year-old resident of North Carolina, USA, stopped washing her hair in 2012. According to the teenager, from early childhood, her parents forced her to undergo this procedure every day, despite her reluctance. “It was originally a protest against the parents,” Gozon admitted. "It seemed to me just another boring ritual that I didn't want to do."
