At the meeting of the collegium of the prefecture of the North-East Administrative District, the results of the work of public utilities last winter were summed up. According to Deputy Prefect Mikhail Puchkov, over the past "cold" period, 979 units of equipment were involved in the territories of North-Eastern Administrative District - 177 tractors, 171 loaders, 182 dump trucks, 411 snow and sweepers. Roofs were cleaned by 324 teams, and 59 teams were created to prevent accidents.
It was noted that this year public utilities for the first time used mounted rotors: special devices that are attached to tractors and allow clearing streets and yards of snow faster. Unimogi trucks with cross-country ability also helped to improve cleaning. In total, 2 million cubic meters of snow were removed from the streets and courtyards of the district.
Prefect Aleksey Belyaev positively assessed the activities of public utilities last winter. He also outlined the tasks for preparing for the next one and said that the above-mentioned services will receive new equipment for cleaning streets and courtyards.
- The city has allocated funds. The delivery of equipment to the districts is already underway, - the head of the district shared the information.
He added that it is necessary to start preparing the housing stock for next winter as soon as possible.
