The international concern Unilever has released a statement that the name of the new soap and body fragrance KJU has nothing to do with the North Korean leader. This is reported by Mashable.

Representatives of the company realized that the name exactly repeats the initials of Kim Jong-un after the registration of the brand.

"It was only after we registered this product that I realized that KJU also stands for Kim Jong Un, but it doesn't matter," said Alan Jope, head of the personal care department.

Mashable believes that the association with the name of the head of the DPRK is the first thing that comes to mind when the abbreviation is mentioned. If you type the letters KJU into Google, then the search engine will show many links specifically to Kim Jong-un.

The company has been developing a new skin product for about six months.

Unilever is optimistic about the Asian cosmetics and skin care market and recently paid € 2.27 billion ($ 2.67 billion) to acquire Carver Korea, which was previously owned by Bain and Goldman Sachs.
