Lush, a British manufacturer of handmade soaps, body and hair care products and other natural cosmetics, has joined an international campaign to defend the rights of transgender people, WWD reported.
The company posts relevant posters in its stores with the tag TransRightsAreHumanRights and donates to charitable foundations. According to company representatives, transgender people (persons who consider themselves to be of a different biological sex and have medically changed their sex) need protection and support from aggression against them.
In addition to transgender people, Lush supports other minorities (LGBT people, women victims of domestic and sexual violence, people with disabilities) by helping charities around the world.
In February 2018, American TV star and rapper Kanye West's wife Kim Kardashian announced on her Instagram story that she would send gifts to her haters on Valentine's Day. The video shows cases with the new Kardashian Bae scent and green stickers with the names of "haters" spread out on the table. Among them are singers Pink, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager Sharon Osbourne, actress and singer Betty Midler and others. As the TV star explained, the entire edition of the fragrance has already been sold out by pre-order.
