Now 35, Aimee is expecting a baby and has a popular blog about her skin on Instagram.

When the artist was a teenager, she easily hid a few spots under her clothes. However, in 2018, everything changed - and the fault was an innocent New Year's kiss.

In 2018, terrible rashes began. They were provoked by a New Year's kiss with a man who, I did not know then, had tonsillitis, - quotes the woman The Sun. Amy contracted tonsillitis and her face was covered with red spots from her forehead to her chin. The psoriasis spread to her arms, thighs, back. Doctors confirmed that alien tonsillitis was the trigger for guttate psoriasis. At first, the artist was in despair - she realized that there was no cure and she would always look like that. Amy didn't want to see her friends or look in the mirror. The spots itched and burned, the skin reacted to makeup with new rashes, the hair on her head had partially fallen out, and now she had to wear wigs.

I even had to remove my toenails. Creams and light therapy help. Sunshine, healthy diet, alcohol avoidance are my friends. But at any moment an exacerbation may occur, - says Amy. When she first went on a date after being diagnosed, the chosen one surprised her. She asked if he wanted to see her real skin, not hidden under makeup.

He agreed and said that my skin is beautiful. Since then we have been together, in October our child will be born. I was afraid that psoriasis would prevent me from finding love, but now there is an incredible amount of love in my life, - admits the artist, expecting the first child from 35-year-old chef Ryan McQueen. She also does not hide the fact that Instagram helped her gain self-confidence. Embarrassed to complain about her skin condition to her family one-on-one, she wrote a post about psoriasis that went viral and brought her a lot of support not only from friends, but also from hundreds of strangers.
