MOSCOW, February 3 - RIA Novosti. The price of gadgets has a drop limit even during the biggest discounts. Alexey Sizov, head of the anti-fraud department of Jet Infosystems, named the lower limit in an interview with Sputnik radio.
The expert explained that one of the main factors determining the price of electronics is the cost of components. That is why a super-large discount on gadgets is simply impossible, it usually fluctuates around 20-30%.
"They always have a volume of cost, below which the price should not be. In most cases, the discount for a good gadget cannot exceed 20-30%," the expert said.
Sometimes the price can go down by more than 30%, Sizov noted, as part of the provision of some additional services - some companies do this to increase their customer base. The rest of the cases of providing huge discounts, according to him, may be fraught with some kind of catch.
"This should give rise to the idea of a fraudulent attempt or an attempt to sell" gray "or counterfeit products. Another option for a low price is the resale of repaired used equipment," Sizov explained.
