A resident of Copenhagen stopped getting rid of unwanted facial hair in spite of men and spoke about her impressions. Her story is cited by the journalists of the Daily Star portal.
Dane Eldina Jaganjac (Eldina Jaganjac) said that she was disappointed in the generally accepted standards of beauty and no longer wants to meet them. According to Eldina, she especially did not like the fact that women should spend more time than men on removing body hair.
“We have to spend a lot of time looking the way society wants it. If a man does not shave or pluck his eyebrows, no one notices this, and women always monitor the smoothness of their legs before going to the gym. I'm tired of pleasing strangers,”shared the 31-year-old heroine of the material.
According to the newspaper, in this regard, Dzhaganzhak refused to shave her eyebrows and mustache in March last year. The woman complained that men often insult her on the street because of the facial hair. Despite this, the Danish woman claims that the fused eyebrows and hair above the lip made her more confident.
“At first I was uncomfortable hearing critical words from strangers, but then I didn't care. I will never see these people again and I don’t want to waste my energy and time on them,”Jaganzhak concluded and urged women not to pursue the ideals of beauty, but to look the way they like.
