Roman Starovoit: “No specialist in the world knows how the situation will develop further. Therefore, we work in real time and must urge our fellow countrymen to do so. People react differently to everything that happens, therefore, politely, but firmly, we must communicate all the decisions we have made collectively. It is our duty to find approaches to everyone and to make sure that the majority are protected from all kinds of threats, including the spread of infections."

According to the chief sanitary doctor of the Kursk region, Oleg Klimushin, 105 new cases of the disease have been identified over the past 24 hours. For the week, the increase in patients with coronavirus was 13.5% or 657 cases. A decrease in the growth rate does not mean reaching a plateau and stabilizing the situation. The upward trend in the incidence was noted at 39 weeks, 23 September. Since then, the gain for each subsequent week has increased intensively. The spread coefficient until October did not exceed 0.9, now it is more than one. From week 39, there was an intense increase in community-acquired pneumonia by 2.4 times compared with week 39.

Over the past week, the number of community-acquired pneumonia increased by 17%. 25-30% - the share of covid pneumonia in the total number of community-acquired pneumonia.

The share of infected children for the week rose 11.8% to 13.7%. For the entire period of the pandemic, 8.7% is at the expense of schoolchildren. In just a week, 86 children became infected, 73 of them were of school age, that is, 85% of the total number of children.
