Women showed their looks with and without makeup and launched a new trend on social media. The videos posted on TikTok were noticed by The Sun journalists.

The new flash mob is called catfish (a term that is used to refer to people who publish their implausible pictures and false information to the network for the purpose of romantic acquaintance - Lenta.ru). The girls began to massively publish videos in which they first showed their faces with make-up and festive outfits, and then starred in home clothes without makeup.

It is noted that a 22-year-old Australian blogger with the nickname @moldogaa started the flash mob. More than 122 thousand people have already taken part in it: users use an audio track from her original video with the words: “I just took this photo for Snapchat. I don't look like that!"

Earlier in November, women massively used Vaseline for beauty and launched a trend. The Korean trend, dubbed "slugging", involves covering the skin with a thick layer of the said product.
