Upon returning home, Elliot, along with other activists from the YGAP organization, decided to launch a flash mob within social networks, in which men were offered to paint any one nail on their hand, posting a picture on the Internet accompanied by the hashtag #PolishedMan. This manicure is intended to reflect the frightening "1 in 5" statistic, as this is the number of children experiencing domestic violence. At first, this idea may seem silly, but it found a response on the network. People began to ask questions, learned about the problem, and began to donate to a large-scale fund to help children who are victims of domestic violence. So, even Hollywood celebrities, including Hugh Jackman and the equally famous Chris Hemsworth, decided to support the fund.
