Concealer All Nighter Liquid Foundation, Urban Decay

Tested by BeautyHack Editor-in-Chief Karina Andreeva

“To be honest: it is very difficult to find the perfect foundation - my requirements are too high. Firstly, I need the lightest shade possible (I am a real snow white), excellent durability (touching up makeup several times a day is not my story) and at the same time the product should not dry out the skin (otherwise it will emphasize peeling, which will instantly block all previous achievements in if they are fulfilled). As soon as I find "my" cream, I use it for a long time. For me, foundation, concealer and shine / tint balm are the three most important beauty trophies that I would take with me to a desert island, which is why I always take each of them seriously.

This winter's discovery is the playful All Nighter foundation from Urban Decay with a waterproof formula. The durability is really incredible: I applied it at seven in the morning on one of the busy days - what was my surprise when at five in the evening I realized that even if I didn't update my tone now, I would still look good at the party. The 1.0 shade was perfect for me and did not make the face too pale. In general, manufacturers especially recommend All Nighter Liquid Foundation to owners of oily skin - the product will not clog pores and will give an excellent mattifying effect. I applied after a moisturizing primer, so the cream evenly distributed on my skin prone to dryness, without emphasizing peeling (which I was incredibly happy about!). Once again, I was convinced that the brand's products are responsible for the "durability" - whether it be my favorite Eye Shadow Primer Potion, which holds shadows in any texture, or Glide-On 24/7 Eye Pencil, which is a long time ago won the love of real makeup gurus (one of our beauty hackers Victoria Moiseeva told us about them in a selection of permanent makeup products).

I will use it for every day, when you need to look good both in the early morning, and at lunchtime, and late in the evening. For better distribution, I recommend applying with a flat brush."

Sketches on Water Tinted Moisturiser, Rouge Bunny Rouge

Tested by BeautyHack editor Anastasia Speranskaya

“I love the Rouge Bunny Rouge brand because the description of each product looks like a fairy tale. For example, the Sketches on Water shade base is presented as waves of a magical lake, washing the roots of trees and leaving a subtle veil on them. Beauty?

But when it came to testing, I understood why the base has such a legend “under its belt”: the skin becomes moisturized and fresh with it, and the feeling of a light veil really remains on the face - which, by the way, no one will notice. Firstly, you can tell everyone that this is just your flawless skin, and secondly, there is no need to layer a dense foundation to even out the complexion, and thirdly, you can apply it with your fingertips and not be afraid of orange, shaded borders.

And the bonus, which cannot be ignored, is the composition. Among the ingredients and vitamins A and E, and antibacterial extract of kelp, and hyaluronic acid and even shark liver oil, known for its anti-aging properties."

BB-cream Nourishing Beauty Balm Black Label + SPF 25, Dr. Jart

Tested by BeautyHack editor Julia Kozoliy

“My love for BB-creams began with this product, which gradually replaced tonal ones from the cosmetic bag. I have no problem skin of a mixed type, so I don't see anything wrong with applying only BB cream every day (the only caveat: it is not as persistent as tonal, so correction is needed in the late afternoon). I use Beauty Balm from the Korean brand Dr. Jart in summer and winter. In summer, it is quickly absorbed and does not leave an oily sheen, and in winter it qualitatively moisturizes and protects the skin from wind and frost, provided that you have used a day cream before.

I apply the product like a regular cream, spreading it over the skin with my fingers (including around the eyes). Beauty Balm is absorbed in a minute and leaves a light, radiant finish. It literally adjusts to the tone, so there is no "mask". The composition includes extracts of camellia, purslane, snowdrop, pomegranate and black caviar, which nourish the skin from the inside, smooth it and create the same "sleek" effect. A 40 ml product is consumed on average in a month and a half, this is not the most economical BB cream, but the result is worth it! Now I am using the second bottle."

BB cream "Precious Immortelle", L'Occitane

Tested by BeautyHack editor Daria Sizova

“It is ideal for lightweight and weightless coverage. BB-cream easily illuminates the skin, smooths out imperfections, removes unevenness and redness of the skin. The bonus is a long-lasting and versatile product: with it you will not need a concealer and primer, the cream can withstand an 8-cm working day perfectly without them. The caring components (essential oil of the immortelle flower) in the composition protect the skin from frost and wind, and in summer they perfectly protect from the sun. In addition, the cream moisturizes the skin very well. You can replace it with a day cream. That's what versatility means!"

Foundation Fit Me, Maybelline

Tested by BeautyHack special correspondent Anastasia Lyagushkina

“I have fair skin prone to dryness, so shade 105 was perfect for me. Since the foundation is matte, I pre-moisturize the skin well so as not to emphasize the flaking. Girls with oily and combination skin will definitely like the cream, otherwise they will have to use a moisturizing primer or cream as a base, and apply the tone with a damp sponge.

Personally, before applying Fit Me to dry parts of the face, I mix the tone with a moisturizer (you can choose the perfect one for yourself here) - then it becomes completely invisible and perfectly evens out the complexion. The cream itself is also weightless and light, lays down in a thin layer and is evenly distributed over the skin. When the makeup lasts for the whole day, I fix it with a translucent loose powder, but this technique was not needed with Maybelline foundation - the makeup lasted at least ten hours, and the cream held flawlessly. For density - a separate plus, the cream perfectly covers imperfections and redness."

Foundation Les Beiges Teint Belle Mine Naturelle Healthy Glow Foundation SPF 25, Chanel

Tested by BeautyHack Editor Natalia Kapitsa

“Despite the fact that in most cases I am limited to applying CC-cream, the foundation from Chanel took pride of place in the cosmetic bag. Dense texture and durability are its main advantages. I apply with a brush - it's easier to blend this way. For lovers of light consistencies, I advise you to add a few drops of moisturizing cream to the base - this will make the tone smoother and provide care for the whole day. The Glow Foundation provides SPF 25 protection - ideal for ski holidays and early spring, and I hope it will come in a couple of weeks."

Foundation Studio Fix Fluid, NW10, M. A. C

Tested by BeautyHack Editor-in-Chief Karina Andreeva

“This winter turned out to be especially successful for me in the discovery of the best foundations (with all the above strict selection criteria!). I heard a lot about Studio Fix, but my hands still didn't get to try. Didn't disappoint! It is slightly lighter than Urban Decay, but it does not make the face too bleached. I decided to use it on those days when you need the perfect tone for photos. The cream does not have a dispenser, the texture of the fluid allows you to "pour" the required amount of funds onto a palette or directly onto a beauty blender. Applied with a wet method and hammering movements, after wetting and squeezing out the sponge. It spreads well on the skin, does not roll during the day, withstands snowstorms and blizzards and does not dry out. As a bonus - the SPF15 filter."

Shaping stick 2 in 1 Studio Skin Shaping Foundation Stick, Smashbox

Tested by BeautyHack editor Anastasia Speranskaya

“Tonal sticks are now in the assortment of almost every brand - but it's not easy to find the perfect one. Firstly, not all of them are creamy enough so as not to stretch the skin upon application and turn you into a leopard with spots that cannot be shaded. The Smashbox stick is good in all respects: it has a delicate creamy texture that lends itself well to shading with a sponge, brush, and fingertips. And the product has excellent overlapping ability - it will cope with minor imperfections with a bang, without the effect of a dense mask. And the bonus that elevates the stick to the category "you will always be in my cosmetic bag" is a convenient creamy contouring product that, with the slightest touch, turns into powder and creates a very natural shadow. The shade of the modeling product is perfectly matched to the foundation, so be guided by it when buying."

BB cream "The Secret of Perfection", Garnier

Tested by BeautyHack editor Daria Sizova

“I tried this remedy for the first time several years ago. The second time I got acquainted with the cream, I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, it does not yellow the skin at all and adapts perfectly to its natural color. Secondly, the cream has a very low consumption, but it is better to apply it with your fingers - this way the texture is better distributed and the application becomes more convenient. Owners of dry skin will like the product very much, but for better durability it needs to be powdered."

Persistent foundation Haute Tenue Everlasting Foundation, Clarins

“A long-lasting foundation suitable for all skin types. I have a fat one, and she responded perfectly to the novelty in the cosmetic bag. The tool lasted for the entire working day. Even dance training turned out to be a feasible task for Clarins Haute Tenue - the tone did not "float away". In the composition - matting bamboo powder, thanks to which the T-zone begins to shine slightly only towards evening (the issue is solved with one matting napkin).

The cream perfectly masks the flaw without creating a mask effect - and in daylight it seems that even skin is a gift of nature, and not a miracle created by decorative cosmetics. The product has a thick, dense texture that is gently shaded with a brush. Strong five for durability, good matting ability and lightness - it is practically not felt on the skin."

Foundation Derma Blend Fluid Corrective Foundation, Vichy

Tested by BeautyHack editorial assistant Karina Ilyasova

“The tonal base from Vichy is from the category of“heavy artillery”. It stays firmly on the skin for an honest 16 hours and tackles such serious problems as acne, hyperpigmentation and even scars.

The lightest shade of the foundation is ideal for Snow White, but you shouldn't bother with it for a long time - shade it right away, until the product is "fixed". The fluid is ideal for oily and normal skin, but with a dry type it may not make friends and give a feeling of tightness to no one. Really covers everything - the face becomes like a blank canvas, on which you can easily draw all the curves and lines. Lovers of contouring take note!"
