Kursk social activist Roman Alekhin urged patients to independently decide on discharge from hospitals

Here is the full text of the appeal: Friends, please show your civic position!

I talk a lot with doctors and I know the situation from the inside. The day before yesterday there was a post in which I talked about patients who did not want to go to the ward without oxygen for follow-up care. But every day the situation is getting worse and there are no places at all. An increasing number of hospitals are being transferred to covidaria, which is why help for other pathologies suffers.

Yesterday a new order was issued and one negative analysis is enough to discharge for follow-up treatment. But this time, which may not be enough for someone, and we all need to think about how to quickly make room for those patients who are seriously ill.

I definitely have no right to demand and, perhaps, even ask for this, but I want to propose to think and independently decide on discharge if you are on the mend. You have passed the acute stage, you feel improvements and you yourself suggest that the doctor write you out for home follow-up treatment. You cannot be forcibly held in the hospital.

Friends, I do not want to appeal to my conscience, because everyone's feelings from illness are different, as is the level of fear, but it is possible that someone is really just waiting for a test to be discharged and is ready to go home today, giving another person a chance.

Such times as we have now are the time of manifestation of oneself as a Human, the time of exploits and the time of cleansing the soul with good deeds and care for one's neighbor. Let's live it right.

Repost please! I beg you to convey to the relatives who are now in hospitals."
