Shampoo Maxi. Wash, Kevin. Murphy

Tested by BeautyHack Editor-in-Chief Karina Andreeva

I continue to discover shampoos from the Australian brand Kevin. Murphy. Summer in my life is the time for the birthdays of all close relatives and friends, so styling products flow like a river, and my hair proudly carries a heavy load. Fortunately, my hair is not capricious, but deep cleansing does not interfere with it, but, on the contrary, makes it possible to breathe better.

I apply Maxi. Wash shampoo to the roots and along the entire length, lather, hold for a minute, and then rinse off. A product based on fruit acids, papaya extract and chamomile flowers works as a peeling, cleanses the hair until it squeaks without opening the cuticle or loosening it. And it is impossible not to fall in love with the aroma of gum! I use it once every two weeks, but the manufacturer claims that all two are possible. An important fact - the shampoo is suitable for all types of hair, including colored ones. Used without balm. After Maxi. Wash, the hair is clean, soft and shiny for the third day (despite the fact that I usually wash my head every day). Great!

Shampoo-detox Caviar Clynical Daily Detoxifying Shampoo, Alterna

Tested by BeautyHack Senior Editor Anastasia Speranskaya

A daily detox is what you need if you (like me) wash your hair and use styling products every day. Sometimes the scalp seems to say: "Enough to endure this," and unpleasant itching and increased sensitivity begin. Scrubs for scalp should not be abused, but shampoos with a deep cleansing effect will definitely come to your aid. Alterna Detoxifying Shampoo not only cleanses the follicles from impurities and sebum residues, but also visibly thickens the hair - I noticed that the styling is invariably voluminous. In addition, the product protects against the adverse effects of hard water - for residents of megalopolises it will definitely be useful. The shampoo smells of menthol and visibly refreshes the scalp - it is recommended to keep the foam for 3-5 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly. Hair becomes shiny, lush and - as an added bonus - grows faster.

Kerium DS Anti-Dandruff Intensive Shampoo, La Roche-Posay

Tested by BeautyHack editor Julia Kozoliy

This remedy has a specific purpose - getting rid of dandruff (the manufacturer recommends a 3-week course of treatment). I don't have this problem, so I use shampoo once every 2 weeks for deep cleansing of styling (if you have dandruff, wash your hair with shampoo 2 times a week). The main active ingredients in the composition - acids (salicylic and patented lipo-hydro-acid) - remove peeling and residues of cosmetics and do not irritate the scalp (the product foams very well). I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the length of the hair after use "does not creak" - mine is especially sensitive to this effect, the cuticle rises one or two, so I apply shampoo to the scalp, gently "stretch" it along the length, wash it off, and then I definitely use a mask. The result is volume at the roots (due to this, the hair seems to crumble) and smoothness along the length!

Shampoo and conditioner Preset Shampoo And Conditioner, Sebastian

Tested by BeautyHack Editor Natalia Kapitsa

The American brand Sebastian, which appeared in Los Angeles in the early 60s, has long made me tender with one recollection - everything that came into my hands was used to the last drop. I wanted to try shampoo for deep cleaning for a long time - I heard too many praise from stylists, bloggers and mere mortals. Spoiler alert: everything is reasonable and legal.

Preset is designed to remove styling residues and other impurities that are too tough with conventional shampoos - heavy metal salts, for example. And it performs its function by all 300% - after using it, I finally got the meaning of the phrase "the skin breathes." Shampoo and conditioner worked wonders: my hair hasn't shone like that in a long time.

Please note that neutral scent shampoo is not intended for daily use. Once every two weeks is the ideal and most correct scheme.

The air conditioner deserves a separate applause. It gives hair a beautiful texture and allows for a soft, natural look. Unlike shampoo, no one forbids using conditioner every day - to your health!

Cleansing gel for the scalp Pramasana purifying scalp cleanse, Aveda

Tested by BeautyHack SMM Manager Alexandra Grishina

Hairdresser Horst Rechelbacher founded the famous Aveda company in 1978 in the American city of Blaine. The New York Times calls him "the father of safe cosmetics" - the one that everyone knows about today and about which we wrote in more detail here. The brand's credo - “Don't rub on yourself what you wouldn't eat” - has been using only natural ingredients at Aveda for 40 years. Pramasana Cleansing Gel is designed to wash the scalp, deeply and gently cleanses it and, thanks to herbal substances (97% natural ingredients), soothes it.

Typically, most scalp cleansers are used 1-2 times a week. But Aveda Gel can be applied every time you wash your hair: apply it to dry or damp skin, distribute it evenly (just thanks to the handy dispenser) and massage. Then rinse and proceed with the traditional shampooing. The gel contains salicylic acid, which exfoliates the skin, moisturizing and refreshing it; and babassu nut oil helps balance sebum production.

The brand is very sensitive to the aromas of products, choosing the best for them. In this case, feel free to enjoy the notes of bergamot, neroli and cypress!

Detox shampoo for hair and scalp Texture Detox, Toni & Guy

Tested by BeautyHack SMM Manager Alexandra Grishina

This shampoo is a godsend for those who use styling every day. If you do not wash your scalp well and like to apply more foam for volume, then most likely, if cleansing incorrectly, you will encounter dandruff and the effect of a "permanently dirty head". To prevent this from happening, you need a detox shampoo. It deeply cleans from roots to ends, removes the remnants of mousses, varnishes, sprays and other "helpers". And the recovery effect declared by the manufacturer and easy styling after cleansing is absolutely true. Hair is easy to comb and perfectly amenable to styling both for brushing and with a conical curling iron.

Shampoo Peeling shampoo, Lundenilona

Tested by editorial assistant Anya Khobotova

I have long been in love with this cosmeceutical brand from Russia. But before you test all Lundenilona products, oh, how far away! The brand is 7 years old and during this time its range has expanded to products for the body, face, eyelashes and even a children's series.

The next step is peeling shampoo. First, it is at least convenient to use. The "shock" composition works on several fronts: glycerin, wheat proteins, a complex of seven natural oils, vitamin E moisturize, nourish and protect the scalp and hair from external influences. Secondly, the product works great as a peeling. It contains several exfoliating components at once: the Bacillus enzyme, allantoin and lactic acid. They attack not only the remains of styling products, but also dead skin particles. I apply the product to a damp scalp, massage very easily for 3-5 minutes and rinse off with cool water. The result is soft hair (thanks to the oils and glyceryl in the composition) and easy to comb.

Cleansing shampoo Aqua Pure, Wella

Tested by editorial assistant Anya Khobotova

Aqua Pure shampoo is part of Wella's INVIGO product line. This is a large series of treatments (by the way, very photogenic) aimed at solving specific problems: relieve dandruff, soothe sensitive scalp and, finally, cleanse. I use lotus flower shampoo only once every 2 weeks, enjoying the process from the moment I open the bottle (I love this cool and sweet scent at the same time) to combing my hair after washing. I apply the product to the scalp, lather and massage away the reminders of summer parties - the remnants of mousses, gels and varnishes. Then - be sure to conditioner, otherwise the hair will not be combed. The result is perfect: smooth hair, beautiful waves and volume at the roots (no styling!) Instead of chaotic curls.

Shampoo Sugarshine, Matrix

Tested by editorial assistant Anya Khobotova

The goal of the Matrix Sugarshine series is to remove dull hair color, the main suppliers of which are bad water and other urban “delights”. The line includes 5 products: scrub, shampoo, conditioner, spray veil and hair serum. I only use shampoo - it's enough to rid my hair of the effects of city life. Sugarshine is transparent with a sweetish lemon scent. I have been using it regularly for a month, and here's an extremely honest summary: my hair has become softer and more manageable. If conditioner is applied on top, the shine returns!

Shampoo peeling 3-in-1 Dercos Micropeel, Vichy

Tested by BeautyHack editorial assistant Karina Ilyasova

I love peeling shampoos and I was looking forward to this one! It is especially pleasant to test a tool that has already been appreciated by hundreds of bloggers and industry experts. The verdict is about the same for everyone - it works!

What does the manufacturer promise us? Exfoliate, fight dandruff and refresh. For this, the composition contains salicylic acid, octopyrox (a biocatalyst that removes the causes of dandruff) and glycerin. I don't have dandruff, but there are peeling and residues of styling products. Therefore, I massage the shampoo onto wet hair and leave it on for 2 minutes. The first thing I noticed was freshness. Even when washing off the shampoo with water, the hair seemed to feel better. And after drying with a hairdryer without styling products, volume appears at the roots and along the length (for lovers of smooth hair, an iron will even come in handy). Shampoo is recommended to be used 2-3 times a week. But I wash my head every 2-3 days, and thanks to the peeling, the effect of freshness lasts longer, so I use the product every 2-3 "washes".

Shampoo to restore the balance of the scalp Normal Persons, Evo

Tested by BeautyHack editorial assistant Karina Ilyasova

All Evo products are my love (and don't try to overpersuade)! This shampoo is really great for cleansing the scalp, but another huge plus is its protection from UVA / UVB radiation. It is difficult to describe its scent: all the brand's fragrances come under the code name "Evo scent" - a neutral pleasant scent with a hint of sweetness.

The composition contains panthenol and hydrolyzed wheat proteins, but there are no sulfates, so the foaming of the product is weak. Shampoo should be applied with massage movements on a damp scalp, lather, and then evenly spread over the entire length and rinse with warm water.

As a result, you get light, voluminous natural curls that last up to 3 days. In the whole story there is only one "but" for perfectionists: hair does not frizz, but it will be difficult to style hair to hair without styling.

Shampoo Balance Shampoo, System Professional

Tested by BeautyHack editorial assistant Karina Ilyasova

Shampoo is designed specifically for sensitive scalp, but for cleansers it is very rare. The formula maintains the pH level necessary for dry and sensitive skin, and the active ingredients moisturize the hair and protect it from drying out. A mild effect is felt already upon application, the shampoo lathers great, is suitable for daily use and does not require the obligatory use of masks and conditioners afterwards. Hair is soft, clean and manageable (even if you dry it naturally)!

Shampoo Volume and Recovery, Dove

Tested by the special correspondent of Beautyhack Daria Mironova

If you, like me, are not a fan of styling and only apply them on very special occasions, this shampoo is fine for daily use. It does not cleanse the hair and scalp to a squeak, but it adequately removes impurities due to a completely ordinary, but working composition: surfactants, sulfates, glycerin, etc. Among the components there are also film-formers - hair after washing is smooth, mobile and there is no fluffiness. As a second step, I always apply a conditioner or mask - just enough to get the desired shine and blow-dry my hair without brushing (in the summer this activity is especially difficult to devote 20 minutes a day). How to cope with styling in the heat, we wrote here.

Cleansing Scrub Scrub with Moringa Extract, Yves Rocher

Tested by the special correspondent of Beautyhack Daria Mironova

This is a new product from Yves Rocher. Large particles of sea salt are responsible for scrubbing in the composition, which you will immediately notice when you apply the product to your hand. It is not liquid, but rather like a mousse, so it does not spread.

Despite its impressive size, the salt works very delicately, does not irritate the scalp (provided that it is not sensitive to you), but I do not recommend rubbing the scrub - just spread the product on the skin and massage very carefully - styling, dirt and keratinized particles are not will remain.

I apply a scrub before shampoo once every 2-3 weeks. You don't need to experiment with the product more often. Firstly, the result after cleansing the scalp will last for at least 3 weeks. And secondly, the use of a scrub with sea salt is a whole special operation: distribute it evenly, then make sure that during rinsing, not a single drop gets into the eyes (otherwise, watch!). But the remedy is worth returning to it from time to time.
