During today's meeting, Deputy Governor Andrei Belostotsky said that the chairman of the Kursk Region Health Committee, Elena Palferova, also suffers from COVID-19. She was sent to Moscow due to a deterioration in her condition.
Later, Oleg Devyanin, the acting chief physician of the Semashko Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, commented on the state of the chairman of the Kursk Region Health Committee: long duration of contact. Despite specific antiviral and biological therapy, the disease progressed.
