In Pyt-Yakh, doctors denied information about chemical burns received by residents of the city from tap water.
From September 19 to September 25, residents of the city with such burns did not apply to the Pyt-Yakhskaya Regional Clinical Hospital. This was announced by the acting. the head physician of the hospital A. V. Aksenov.
Yulia Pospelova, deputy chief physician for the medical department of the Pyt-Yakha clinical hospital, noted that, in principle, there can be no burns from cold tap water. Only if some kind of chemical liquid flowed from the tap. But this cannot be. “I will repeat that we have not had a single case of treatment with such phenomena. We conducted a survey in residential buildings, institutions of this district, no complaints were found,”explained Yulia Evgenievna.
Recall that the day before, the media published materials that a resident of Pyt-Yakh received a chemical burn from tap water. She allegedly held her hand under water for several minutes and received a reddening of the skin, similar to a burn. Moreover, the woman says that she did not use detergents.
Redness is visible in the photo - no more. Yulia Pospelova noted: "I am not an expert dermatologist, but I can say that the signs indicated in the photo could have been caused by anything other than cold tap water, including a burn with boiling water."
The District Prosecutor's Office and Rospotrebnadzor began checking this information.
