Svetlana had to re-learn to speak and walk. The skin on the body was stuck together, like the membranes on frog legs, so it was simply impossible to straighten the legs and arms. But the baby coped with all the hardships. But it seems that Alekseev, the elder daughter, did not care at all about the fate of her daughter: she never once visited Svetlana in the hospital. The woman felt neither guilt nor even pity for the child. Moreover, Alekseeva continued to mock her daughter. As Svetlana recalls, once the mother, under the pretext of washing her hair, almost drowned her in a basin, keeping her head under water. Then the girl was saved by a lucky chance: her mother stumbled, loosened her grip, and Svetlana broke free. Another time, Alekseeva the elder threw a carving knife in the girl's face. The knife knocked out two of the child's teeth and pierced the cheek.
Cherished orphanage
In the end, Svetlana decided that it was better to live in an orphanage than with her own mother. For several years she filmed the beatings and tried to ensure that Alekseev was deprived of her parental rights. Thanks to innate perseverance, the girl managed to prove that her mother was not involved in raising her, but only mocked her. Svetlana was assigned to one of the boarding schools in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. However, the children turned out to be no less cruel. Especially in insults of the "non-standard" pupils, the older comrades succeeded. When the matured girls and boys left the state walls, and Svetlana herself joined the ranks of the elders, the aggression subsided. Then her peers awarded her a new, more affectionate nickname Coal. It was him that Alekseeva took as a pseudonym.
Internet model and future TV presenter
Since childhood, Svetlana dreamed of a modeling career. The girl did not give up her dream even when a misfortune happened to her. After graduating from school, Alekseeva immediately went to Moscow. As Svetlana herself admits, she was sure that only in her native Komsomolsk live "such limited people", and in the capital, her unusual appearance will definitely be appreciated. Svetlana decided to start with social networks, becoming a so-called Internet model. When the number of subscribers exceeded several thousand, Alekseeva sent her photos to several model publics. Photographer Dasha Lazareva became interested in Svetlana. Thanks to Lazareva, the pictures of the girl scattered all over the Internet. Nevertheless, Svetlana Ugolek is not going to stop there. Now she wants to enter the journalism department and become a TV presenter.
