According to the Kursk branch of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare, medical institutions subordinate to the regional komzdrav are doing ineffective work in terms of using computed tomographs. So far, the daily number of CT scans performed in private clinics is higher than in public hospitals, although it should be the other way around. This is especially important today in the context of the general fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Roszdravnadzor strongly recommended that the Kursk Oblast Health Committee increase the load on existing machines to make computed tomography more accessible for outpatients with coronavirus.
