Cannes is one of the few places on the planet where European fashion intersects with American, Russian and Asian. In this context, the red carpet of all the events of the two-week festival was something of a catwalk, where celebrities paraded in the best haute couture outfits instead of fashion models. Gold, silver and LOTS of glitter
The guests of the film festival took the course towards "shine bright like a diamond" at the opening, when Eva Herzigova appeared in a tight gold dress, and Princess Clotilde - in Elie Saab embroidered with rhinestones and stones. Further, the situation developed even more brilliantly: the girls dazzled the press with each of their performances under the flashes of cameras.
Sequins on their outfits were presented both totally (for example, by Doutzen Cruz, Irina Shayk, Kendall Jenner and Nicole Kidman), and locally (Elle Fanning and Bella Hadid), depending on the desire of the stars to attract attention. Colored Stone Necklaces
The eye was cut not only by shiny outfits, but also by jewelry from sponsoring brands: Chopard, Bvlgari and de Grisogono. The Cannes Festival events are reminiscent of parties at the Great Gatsby in their opulence and degree of luxury, where champagne, fireworks and jazz echo with playful tassels and fringe on the outfits. Pink color
Fashion today shows us the evolution of femininity. Jewelry has always taken inspiration from artistic or architectural inspiration, resulting in Chandeliers. These are earrings, similar to the chandeliers of the Versailles Palace or the Mariinsky Theater - massive, multi-tiered and “flared” downwards. Marion Cotillard, Laetitia Casta, Irina Shayk, Spanish actress Paz Vega and models Petra Nemkova and Hailey Baldwin volunteered to show this talent (twice). The slit on their dresses extended all the way to the hip, sometimes even capturing what the girls weren't planning to show off. The ideal option in the case of this trend is a cut that does not overload the image and only hints at the slimness of the figure, and does not expose it completely (for this we have a point above).
Princess dresses
Once a year, on the Cote d'Azur, every girl can feel like a princess, and this does not even require a magic fairy. Her role is played quite successfully by designers who, inspired by the images of Disney heroines, sew fluffy dresses on tansy or with tutus for their clients.
