The opening ceremony took place on Tuesday, during which Jim Jarmusch's new painting "The Dead Don't Die" was shown. The first day of the festival was attended by many celebrities: actresses Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore and Tilda Swiniton, models Alessandra Ambrossio and Isabelle Gular. The popular singer Selena Gomez became the debutante in Cannes this year. She played one of the roles in the thriller Jarmusch.
In Cannes, there is a fairly strict dress code for evening events: the dress should be plain, floor-length, shoes - closed, with heels. Of course, designers have to rack their brains to comply with all the rules, but at the same time make the outfit bright and memorable.
