Doctors of the Republican Clinical Hospital (RCH) of Tatarstan saved the life of a pregnant girl who fell ill with coronavirus for a period of 27 weeks.

The girl had a runny nose and a red throat, and after three days the ARVI spilled over into a sore throat, by the evening she began to choke. The ambulance doctors who arrived connected the pregnant woman to oxygen and took her to the infectious diseases hospital, where she was diagnosed with coronavirus, Realnoe Vremya reports.

By the evening, the patient became even worse: she could no longer breathe on her own, the lungs were 50% affected, the temperature was above 39 degrees. The girl was unconscious. At night, the pregnant woman was brought to the intensive care unit of the Perinatal Center of the RCH. For several days, doctors checked her condition every hour.

After several days of droppers, injections, pills and oxygen masks, the girl began to come to her senses. It is noted that the child is alive and well in all respects. A few days later, the patient was transferred to the pulmonology department of the RCH for rehabilitation. According to the press service of the RCH, the pregnant woman has already gone home and is waiting for the day of birth.

Earlier, the governor of the Murmansk region, Andrei Chibis, said that doctors saved the life of a 90-year-old patient with a pacemaker, who was diagnosed with coronavirus.
