In Yekaterinburg, surgeons from the Sverdlovsk Regional Clinical Hospital 1 saved a 35-year-old woman who did not dare to operate for 1.5 years. As the press service of the regional Ministry of Health informed the IA "Ural Meridian", it was one of the most difficult operations in the practice of vascular surgeons.

The patient was first admitted to the hospital at the end of 2018 with a through hole in the esophagus wall. Doctors on the same day immediately removed all the pus from the lung. A few days later, the woman began to bleed heavily. The X-ray surgeons of the SOCB 1 stopped him with difficulty. No one began to perform a complicated operation on the town woman, since no one had such experience.

In the spring of 2019, the patient was again admitted to the hospital with a pseudo-aneurysm. Aleksey Gasnikov, a doctor at the Department of Vascular Surgery, SOCB 1, explained that for all 1.5 years the woman lived as if on a powder keg, since at any moment heavy bleeding could begin. As a result, the vascular surgeons decided on the most complicated intervention and saved the woman from Sverdlovsk.
