One of Bvlgari's flagship fragrances, the new men's fragrance Man Glacial Essence, was created for true climbers. Spanish perfumer Alberto Morillas has created a fresh scent with a woody base and a note of sandalwood in the heart, which upon first meeting evokes thoughts of the majestic Alps. To introduce the composition to its loyal clients, the House of Rome invited them on a virtual walk through the snow-capped mountains. To accurately capture the topography of the Swiss and Italian Alps, the brand used Google satellite imagery. Using joysticks, guests walked the glacier, climbed the slopes with ice axes and smashed a block of ice to eventually discover a new scent. Alberto Morillas himself, or rather, his photorealistic copy, became the guide on this journey and the face of the campaign. The perfume itself has a similar effect: the top notes of juniper berries refresh the mind, tart wormwood and ginger invigorate, and cedar and musk give confidence - so that every day in a light cloud of Man Glacial Essence becomes an exciting adventure.
