Alison didn’t deny it and spoke about the “shameful” incident that happened on the set of Mad Men. The actress admitted that she was not ready for how to properly wear retro suits, corresponding to the era of the project. According to her, under the dresses, the actresses also wore special vintage underwear, which was given to them by costumers, but the star did not understand that they did not need to wear their own underneath.

The underpants resembled biker shorts, reaching to the very ribs, with a high belt. Below them there was only a small hole for a convenient trip to the toilet. Nobody explained to me that under these panties there is no need to wear personal underwear. As a result, one day before filming began, I was impatient to use the toilet, I thought that I would quickly cope with everything, but I could not take off these vintage panties at the waist. I tried to stretch the hole, but got into a mess - everything flowed inside the linen, and I realized this only when the sound corresponding to the process did not appear, but I suddenly felt very warm,

The actress admits that she was ashamed to return to the set in such a state, but she could not disrupt the filming process and keep herself waiting.
“I was a guest actress and was terribly afraid of losing my job if the producers didn't like something. In the end, I just stuffed a lot of toilet paper under my linen and went to act like this. It was terrible, but then, fortunately, no one noticed anything,”Alison said.
