“During the judicial investigation it was established that defendant A., holding the position of the chief specialist-expert of the accounting and reporting department of the Administration of the Shchigrovsky district of the Kursk region, in the period from 2014 to 2019 through deception and abuse of trust, using her official position, overstating the size of her own wages, as well as paying herself other payments she was not entitled to, she embezzled budget funds in the amount of more than 2 million rubles, which she later disposed of at her own discretion,”the press service of the Shchigrovsky District Court reports.
As a result of such "labor activity" - imprisonment for a term of 2 years 6 months, with serving the sentence in a correctional colony of general regime, with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in local self-government bodies related to the implementation of administrative functions for 2 years 6 months.
It is noted that the defendant admitted her guilt, and the claim filed by the Shchigrovsky interdistrict prosecutor against the defendant / civil defendant A. for compensation for property damage caused, was fully satisfied in the amount of 563,943 rubles 89 kopecks.
The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed.
