Despite the increased incidence of telephone fraud, the residents of Kursk continue to succumb to the tricks of the criminals
Another victim of the swindlers was a 41-year-old Kurjan. In the evening he received a call from an unknown number. A man who introduced himself as a bank specialist convinced him that an unauthorized transfer had been made from his account.
In order not to lose money, the man was advised to withdraw all funds from the ATM and send them to a "safe" account. As the deceived citizen soon realized, this account belonged to the swindlers.
A similar incident occurred on the same day with another resident of the region. Trusting the swindler, the 32-year-old kuryan transferred 228 thousand rubles.
In the police, both men noted that they knew how telephone scammers operate, but did not expect an attack against them.
