In the regional administration it became known that the management of the Kursk plant "Electroagregat" is bringing to work employees of the age category 65+, although there should be a restriction on the elderly

The return to full-time work of the majority of Kurds 65 years and older should begin no earlier than February 7, in connection with which some employees of "Electroagregat" had doubts about the legality of the decision to take them to work earlier.

An explanation for this situation was given today in the House of Soviets.

“The current restrictive measures allow enterprises to hire an employee if his presence is critical for functioning, this is a general rule for the country and is included in your decree,” said Vyacheslav Berzin, Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region, in an interview with Roman Starovoit.

In turn, the chairman of the regional committee for industry, trade and small business development Mikhail Aksenov added that the plant attracts literally a few, and that the workers themselves express a desire to work as usual due to the fact that their sick pay is small.

“If there are such cases, let’s vaccinate them first of all so that they don’t worry about their health,” suggested Deputy Governor Andrei Belostotsky.
