Female astronauts have to use special makeup that NASA engineers came up with. The design of the space capsule collection was approved back in the 70s, but, they say, until now, these beauty sets have not gone into orbit!
“NASA engineers decided that we, women astronauts, needed makeup on board, so they developed not just make-up products, but even thought about packaging - a yellow plastic box with mini pockets for beauty products,” astronaut Sally shared. Ryde, the first woman to fly into space.
According to engineers, girls in space will have enough eyeliner, mascara, mono eyeshadow, makeup remover, blush and lipstick. What to say? Real men! They didn't even think about skin care products (and they will still be more important than makeup) and about different shades of lipsticks and eyeshadows (really all female astronauts should use the same lipstick color ?!). By the way, girls-astronauts cannot take any of their funds into space!
