Untidy manicure with peeling varnish has become the trend of 2020. This is the conclusion reached by fashion experts at Vogue magazine after New York Fashion Week.
During the Khaite brand show, American model Bella Hadid took to the catwalk. Along with a leopard-print outfit and a leather coat, she showed off a clutch bag with the brand's golden logo. The journalists drew attention to the model's nails: they were covered with black varnish, which came off unevenly along the edges.
According to renowned manicure artist Jin Soon Choi, who designed Hadid's nails, the effect of "imperfect coverage" was achieved on purpose. To do this, she applied two coats of black polish, and then casually rubbed her nails with a napkin before they dried.
