Marcelo de Souza Ribeiro, 38, has over 1,000 tattoos all over his body.
According to the Brazilian, 98% of whose body is covered with drawings, he got his first tattoo at the age of 15 - and then went through hundreds of tattoo sessions. In addition, he grew steel fangs, cut his tongue and filled his eyes with paint.
Tattooing on the eyes was almost the most painful of all, according to Marcelo. He painted his eyeballs eight years ago, at the risk of going blind, getting a serious infection, losing sensitivity to light and the eyes itself - however, fortunately for him, everything went without serious consequences. But the most painful tattoo was … the drawings on the ears, according to the Daily Star. He painted one ear green, the other black.
While they were tattooing, nothing hurt, anesthesia worked. But when her effect was over, his ears burned for several days, - the man complains. He does not regret any body modifications. “I created myself without relying on anyone else's appearance,” he laughs. He is now planning to tattoo the inner surface of his lips.
Despite his relatively young age, Marcelo is already a grandfather. His son Aleff is eight years old, his daughter Hillary is 18, and his grandson Miguel is two.
