«Today, at a staff meeting, Governor Sergei Morozov announced new restrictive measures to be introduced in the region due to the pandemic situation. In the near future, the decree on high readiness is planned to consolidate mandatory self-isolation for people over 65 and for people with chronic diseases. At the same time, the work of volunteer corps will be additionally strengthened to help these categories of citizens.», - Gurskaya told the Daily Storm.
A spokesman for the governor added that the region will continue to ban public events during the vacation period and will continue to operate a curfew for catering establishments: cafes, bars, restaurants and food courts.
«In addition, from November 16 to 22, Ulyanovsk schoolchildren will be on vacation. Now the possibility of prohibiting minors from being in shopping centers unaccompanied by their parents or other legal representatives is being considered during the holidays. Also, employers will be advised to transfer one of the parents of schoolchildren to "remote work" during the holidays., - added Gurskaya.
