There is such a statement: healthy hair is an indicator of the health of the body. It's hard to argue with that. But the unhealthy condition of the hair, especially in women, cannot always be associated with health problems in the body. Simply because there are a number of hairstyles with which women simply "kill" their hair.

For example, widespread bouffants, which almost never went completely out of fashion. And if occasionally on a holiday such a hairstyle is permissible, then daily bouffant is a barbaric treatment of hair. Whoever has done a comb at least once knows how difficult it is to comb your hair later. They have to be separated, or rather tore apart, from the very root. As a result, the hair becomes straw-like and has a dull lifeless appearance. Pulling your hair while combing deforms the hair follicles, causing the hair to begin to fall out. Doctors-trichologists say: as a rule, the rarest hair among fans of bouffants. It is among them that the largest number of rapidly balding women are.

Most often, women spoil their hair with the simplest, at first glance, hairstyle - a ponytail. Josephine Quintanilla-Daek, a university specialist from Texas, believes that everyone's favorite ponytail and tightly braided braids do irreparable harm to hair. And this is a non-verbal statement. University staff conducted a special study, during which it was established that tails and tight braids disrupt the hair structure and negatively affect the hair follicles. Due to the constant tightness of the hair, the follicles experience a lack of oxygen. As a result, the hair is rapidly thinning.

But this is still half the trouble: tightly braided or gathered in a bun hair, and even pulled together with an elastic band, disrupt the blood supply to the cerebral cortex. As a result, the owner of the hairstyle gets a migraine, which is very difficult to eliminate without changing the hairstyle.

If a woman untwists a tail or a spikelet every day, at least at night giving her hair a rest, then, for example, Afro-braids are braided for 2-3 months. All the harm that tails and spikelets do to hair increases incredibly here. In addition, in the summer (and African braids are often woven at this time of the year), the scalp remains almost completely unprotected from the sun. In addition to impaired blood circulation due to tight braids, the skin is also exposed to the aggressive effects of the sun. When the hair is unbraided after such a hairstyle, they begin to fall out abruptly and in large quantities. Chelyabinsk dermatologist-trichologist Tatyana Trapeznikova in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda advises avoiding African braids, as they most often cause traction hair loss (loss due to tension). But if there is a great desire to make them, then no more than a month during your summer vacation.

The real horror for hair is Curly's curls. The base is the same African braid with a strand of kanekalon screwed to it. That is, it is one of the types of hair extensions. Artificial strands are treated with a special composition to keep the hairstyle even in bad weather. To preserve it for two to three months, the hair is regularly treated with a special oil. You need to learn how to properly wash such hair, otherwise insects can start in them, which, according to hairdressers, stylists, they had to observe more than once.

Many girls take care of their hair, do not torment them with afro-braids, fleeces or artificial curls, and to make their hair wavy, they simply braid them wet at night. Stylist Lia Giorno, the owner of the salon of the same name, warns against such actions: braided wet hair breaks easily. It is better, in her opinion, to wait until it is completely dry, and then braid it a little tighter than the usual light weaving - the effect will be the same, and the harm is much less.

The forgotten, seemingly, perm returns. Today there are several types of it: acidic, alkaline, neutral, biological. The most stable is acidic chemistry. She's the most harmful. Hair looks lush due to the fact that the hair structure swells. When, after a few months, this effect disappears, only dull split ends, resembling a nest, will remain. And here a woman has two ways: to go to the hairdresser for a new perm and thereby further spoil what is left of her hair, or to wait for a new hair to grow back. It will be possible to radically change the hairstyle not earlier than in six months.

Other types of chemistry are less aggressive, but in the end, and after them, your head will resemble a nest of tangled lifeless strands.

Tatiana Savelyeva, a fashion designer and hair stylist, says that all new types of hairstyles, including extensions, biolamination, dreadlocks, and so on, are just siphoning money out of clients. In her opinion, any effect is harmful to hair, except for nourishing organic masks and haircuts.
