In the Sverdlovsk town of Serov, a local resident born in 1992 killed a dog for eating food. As reported to IA "Ural Meridian" in the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the woman was sentenced to 4 months of restriction of freedom for the crime.
“At the end of September 2020, residents of the village of Filkino contacted the duty station of the Serov police. Citizens reported that a woman living in a house on Zheleznodorozhnaya Street had killed her two-year-old mongrel dog named “Mina”. On social networks, eyewitnesses posted a video on which the woman was captured at the moment when she was trying to get rid of the animal's body - she was dragging her along the road to be thrown into the bushes behind the house where she lived,”the department said.
At the time of the crime, the citizen was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and was hospitalized in a medical facility. The investigation found out that the Sverdlovsk woman inflicted fatal wounds on the dog with a kitchen knife.
