Alexandra Symons from the Australian state of Queensland began to experience difficulties from being overweight after the birth of her son Hudson. Every time a 32-year-old woman appeared in public with her child, she was ashamed of her shape.

“I wanted to wear a bikini without fear of looking creepy. Why bikini there, I was afraid to even eat in public places. I hid in the toilets, where I could secretly have a snack without judging others."

- she shared.

Simons tried diets, but they brought only temporary results: the lost pounds returned again. The woman again seriously thought about her appearance when she began to breastfeed her baby. “My God, I really do look like a fat cow,” she admitted then.

The Australian woman sought help from a surgeon who performed sleeve gastrectomy (surgery to reduce the volume of the stomach by surgery). After that, the woman accustomed herself to doing physical exercises and three years after the operation she achieved the desired shape.

Now Simons weighs 68 kilograms and is expecting a second child. She shared her story to help people in a similar situation change their lives.
