A husky dog named Derek waited for its owners, who spent 12 days in the isolation wards of Minsk.

According to the owner of the dog Natalya, she and a young man named Pavel were detained in Minsk when the protesters were marching in the capital.

The car in which the girl and the guy were traveling was stopped by traffic police officers, after which they were told to follow them and took them to the Moscow police department of Minsk. The girl said that after that she was taken to the isolation wards for 12 days: Moskovskoe District Department of Internal Affairs - IVS Akrestsin - Baranovichi SIZO.

All this time, a dog named Derek was waiting for the detainee at home. The dog was looked after by acquaintances, according to them, Derek constantly whined and could not sleep.

When the owners finally returned, he even knocked the girl to the floor for joy.

Now Derek never leaves the owners, "even if he is hot and wants to lie on his favorite cool tiles," reports Meduza.

Let us remind you that presidential elections were held in Belarus on August 9. On them, according to the statement, the CEC, Alexander Lukashenko won again. The announced results led to massive protests that have continued to this day.
